Pre-Treatment
No Actives or exfoliating 7 days prior to treatment.
No suntanning 7 days prior to treatment.
No injectables 2 week prior to treatment.
No shaving/ waxing on treatment area 7 days prior to treatment.
Post Care
You may experience some rosiness, flaking/peeling & sensitivity for 3-7 days post treatment. Purging is a normal & positive side effect! This means all the breakout stuck underneath the skin are coming to the surface making them easier & less painful to extract/treat. Trust the process! 3-6 treatments, 2-4 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. You will be sent home with a card with detailed after care information & what you can expect from your skin over the healing process!
Only gentle cleanser, hydrating serum & basic moisturizer 3-7 days post treatment is recommended.
Daily use of sunscreen SPF 30 minimum is required 7 days post treatment.

Clean pillow, face towels & makeup brushes is HIGHLY recommended.

During: It burns, it feels uncomfortable but a fan is provided to help make it more comfortable. The burning sensation only lasts 1-2 minutes per layer. By the end of the treatment you should not feel a burning sensation, but you may feel warm & sensitive.
Day 1-3: Your skin will feel tight & may feel congested as under the skin breakouts come to the surface. You skin may have a plasticy look before peeling starts.
Day 3-7: Around day 3 you will start to experience flaking/peeling. Please allow the peel to shed off naturally. Peeling off the flaking skin yourself may result in scarring. If you have dark marks you may notice them darken prior to flaking off.
Once your skin is done peeling you will notice an over all glow, improved texture, hyperpigmentation & breakouts.

What is purging?
Purging is when you breakout from a treatment or product. This is not a negative reaction this is happening because it speeds up your skin's cell turnover rate allowing the breakouts that were stuck in your skin to come to the surface. This makes the breakouts easier & less painful to extract. Purging can last between 4-6 weeks.
Can I wear makeup?
Yes you can, please make sure your makeup is not expired & your brushes/ sponges are clean. It is not while you are peeling/ flaking. Makeup also looks horrible on top of peeling skin, I learned by personal experience.
How many treatments do I need?
3-6 treatments, spaced 2-4 weeks apart, depending on the severity of your skin concerns & how your skin responds.

Derma-planning: feels like slight scraping across your face. It does not hurt. During the process your skin may feel slightly tight & dehydrated but it is followed up with products to combat these side effects.
Microdermabrasion feels like light suction & slightly rough, similar to a cats tongue being dragged across your skin. It does not hurt. During the process your skin may feel slightly tight & dehydrated but it is followed up with products to combat these side effects.
Sonic scrubber feels like vibrations on the skin. Extractions do feel uncomfortable but should not feel painful.

No! Vellus hair aka peach fuzz grows back at the same rate and thickness as before.
